LeEco has always had its presence in the US market through its own store Le Mall. However, the store wasn’t as successful as the company expected it to be. To increase sales and capture the wider segment of the US smartphone market, the company then tied up with Target, the second largest discount store retailer in the United States. And now, LeEco has taken the next big step by tying up with Amazon, the largest internet-based retailer in the world.
LeEco’s Le Pro 3, Le S3 Smartphones and TVs now available on Amazon
You can now buy LeEco smartphones and TVs on Amazon. However, as of today, only a few products are listed for sale – three TVs and two smartphones in all. You can buy Le Pro 3 smartphone for $399 and Le S3 smartphone for $249.99 on Amazon. You can also buy the three LeEco TVs listed on Amazon at a flat $100 discount. LeEco 43-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV, Black (2016 Model) is available for $449.99, a flat discount of $100 as compared to the original price of $549.
The LeEco 55-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV, Silver (2016 Model) is available for $699, a discount of $100 from the original price of $799. LeEco 65-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV, Silver (2016 Model) is available for $1099.99.
It looks like LeEco is trying to promote its cost-effective products to a wider segment of electronics consumer market. Clearly relying only its own store for sales hasn’t worked for the company. The company hopes to increase visibility and sales by tying up with Amazon. Amazon is likely to boost LeEco’s sales, given that the internet-based retailer has one of the largest online consumer base in the United States.
