LeEco has revealed its new offering in the name of Le Pro 3 AI Edition. The mysterious smartphone which leaked a couple of time before comes with a robotic face dual cameras on the rear.
Le Pro 3 AI Edition will go on sale in China on April 14 in two variants: “standard” and “eco”. In case you are curious, the latter will be a higher-end version. Users will have the option to choose from gold, rose gold, and black colors.
Le Pro 3 AI Edition Specifications
The all new handset from LeEco will sport a 5.5-Inch Full HD 1920 X 1080p display along with 13 MP + 13 MP dual rear cameras (one monochrome, one color) with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus, and a dual-LED flash. The 4K recording is supported at 30 fps. Also, slow motion capture is made possible at 720p/120 fps. On the front, you will find an 8 MP shooter f/2.2 aperture and 1.4um pixel size, with a 76.5-degree field of view.
The standard variant of Le Pro 3 AI Edition is powered by MediaTek Helio X23 chipset with 4 Gigs of RAM and 32 GB internal storage. Whereas the “eco” improves on the processor with Helio X27 SoC with same gigs of RAM. The eco variant also houses double the storage at 64 GB. Both the models will feature a 4000 mAh battery with Android Marshmallow underneath LeEco’s EUI. As far as the dimensions are concerned, the smartphone measures 52.4 x 75.1 x 7.5mm and weighs 168 grams.
Coming to pricing, the standard variant will cost CNY 1,799 (approximately $260 or €245) and the eco variant will fetch CNY 2,399 ($347 or €328).
At the launch pricing, the Le Pro 3 AI Edition is pitted directly against the Moto G5 Plus launched recently. The Moto offering also features a dual camera setup on the back and carries a similar price tag. It will be interesting to see how the smartphone fares in tough competition from Motorola, Huawei, and others.
