Microsoft has been working on the Skype UWP app for quite some time now and the same was released some time ago for Windows 10 PC insiders. But today, the mobile variant of the app has been leaked, thanks to Jeremy Sinclair on XDA Forums.
For those running the latest Redstone insider builds on their mobile devices, Skype Universal app can be downloaded and installed following the steps provided below:
First, download the .appxbundle from HERE
Next, copy the file to your mobile device
Then, head to Setting > Update & Security > For Developers and enable Developer Mode
After that, locate the file in File Explorer
Last, Tap on it to install Skype Universal app on your smartphone
You can also use Device Portal to install the app on your Windows 10 Mobile device as well. One thing to note, being a leaked version, the app is bound to have bugs and issues associated with it. So, in case you decide to give it a shot, be prepared or wait for the official release.
In other related news, Microsoft has silently released the Windows 10 Build 10586.338 to Release Preview ring insiders.
