Microsoft is expected to release the big Anniversary a.k.a Redstone 1 update on August 2, but the company is also working on getting the second wave i.e. Redstone 2 update ready for future release.

A couple of new leaks have surfaced today courtesy of MSPU, showcasing the all new redesigned Action Center in Windows 10 Mobile Redstone 2.

The Redstone 2 update is expected to bring the features which couldn’t make it in the first one. So, it makes sense if Action Center gets a reboot in next update. Following are the two leaked screenshots for Windows 10 Mobile Action Center in work on Redstone 2 update.

As you can see in the above screenshots, Microsoft is planning to divide the Action Center into two parts, namely actions and toggles, along with a dedicated slider for brightness control just like other platforms. Actions will allow you to perform quick tasks like launching the camera, taking note etc, while toggles will let you turn on off things like Bluetooth, Mobile data.

The new design definitely looks cleaner and much more organized, so windows user will definitely welcome the change.

As far as the launch date is concerned, Redstone 2 is expected to launch in the spring of 2017, but nothing is confirmed as of now, so you can take this news with a grain of salt at the moment.

Still, the new developments make sense it will bring the operating in parity with the competing OS like Android and iOS. Everything shall be clear in just a couple of weeks once the Redstone 2 builds starts rolling out to insiders after the official Anniversary(Redstone 1) update.
