The Latest and the newest Pokemon Go Update is finally ended. What is Niantic planning next? Let’s have a look at it all.
The latest Pokemon Go Update offered the remarkable Pokemon Go celebration event that allowed the fans to capture some of the rare and festive Pikachu. This festive event started in the month of February on 26 at 1:00 PM PST. This event is now officially ended.
Niantic recently confirmed that the Festive event that started in February is now ended and all the captures rare Pikachu characters will keep their part Hats forever.
The ending of the event has surfaced the questions of what’s next and what Niantic is currently working on?
Well, the Developer of Pokemon Go has already teased about the next In-game event. They teased about the event just after the event of Pokemon Go Celebrations went live. A member of the Pokemon Go development team told the fans to keep their in-game candy. So, is there something coming out that will require the candy?
According to the Silph Road, this could possibly be another teaser for the next big Double XP event. The event is based on the outline that has emerged with the event rewards. If you have a closer look at the candies and their rewards, you’ll have the idea.
Halloween (Double Candy), Christmas and New Year ()Special Santachu and Increased Kanto Spawn Rate), Thanksgiving (Double XP), Valentine’s (Double Candy),? Event (Double XP), Easter (Special and Increased Egg Drop Rates).
It is rumored that if Niantic releases the next event before the Easter, it could be about St, Patrick’s Day or maybe about Mother’s Day. Niantic Labs recently released a Pokemon Go Update for iOS but there is nothing of importance in that. So, for time being, there is nothing new about Pokemon Go in the stores.
As far as we know based on the recent updates and stuff presented by Niantic, the Next big changes could be about Gym Battles and Trading elements of the game. Trading is the most important element of Pokemon Go and there were some changes required. We know that there are a lot of new changes coming to the in-game Trade. Niantic confirmed that these changes will come through Proximity.
Niantic also said that they are working on an update that will potentially further break trading options of the game. This means that the fans will most likely see a more watered down version of features in near future. After all these elements settled down, the next changes to the game could be about some other improvements to the Gym battling and PvP options.
Keep in mind that Niantic hasn’t yet revealed any date for the new update release. There are absolutely no advertisements or teasers launched for the update as well. However, some of the most important people at Niantic studios have said that the new update could be launched in 2017 sometime.
