The Moto E3 Power is the perfect budget smartphone for many users. So far, there has not been any announcement or a status update regarding the Android Nougat OS update for the new smartphone.
The new Android Nougat OS Update is expected to be released on a number of Motorola-Lenovo smartphones. However, the company seems to be still contemplating the firmware roll-out for the recently launched Moto E3 Power. The company recently released a list of smartphones eligible to receive the new update, which didn’t include the Moto E3 Power.
Since, Motorola is yet to confirm whether the Moto E3 power will receive the update or not, users are left in a fix. The new smartphone was presumed to be among the list of eligible devices. However, it seems that the Moto E3 Power users might have to stick with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS for a while.
The Moto E3 Power is priced at Rs 7,999 in India. The affordable smartphone is quite popular among the users. Recently, a Whatsapp message went viral, which showed the Moto E3 Power is available at just Rs 499 during Flipkart Diwali sale.
The Moto E3 Power sports a 5-inch IPS LCD display with HD [720 x 1280 pixels] resolution and pixel density of 294 ppi. It is powered by a 1GHz MediaTek MT6735P processor [four cores] along with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T720 MP2 GPU. The new device comes with 16GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a micro SD card.
The new smartphone sports a 8MP rear camera with auto-focus and a LED flash. It also features a 5MP front camera. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G, Wi-Fi with hot-spot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and micro USB 2.0. Sensors present in this device include light sensor, proximity sensor and accelerometer. The dual SIM smartphone is backed by a 3,500mAh li-ion battery.
