Apple is known for announcing iPhones in September. It is now sent out media invitations that suggest that iPhone 7 launch event will be held on Sept. 7.

The invitation from Apple to the media reads “see you on the 7th which indicates that it would be announcing the next iPhones on Sept. 7. It is speculated the iPhone 7 pre-orders will begin from Sept. 9and it will be available for buying at the stores by Sept. 16. The Cupertino company is also expected to announce Apple Watch 2 alongside the iPhone 7, Indian Express reported.
iPhone 7 Models and Moniker
Rumors are rife that Apple may announce three iPhones in the next month, namely – iPhone 7 with 4.7-inch screen, iPhone 7 Plus with 5.5-inch display and iPhone 7 Pro will also feature a 5.5-inch screen. However, the Pro model is expected to be a slightly high-end model that will include a dual camera setup on its rear.
Recent rumors had indicated the iPhone 7 would not be a major compared to iPhone 6S. Hence, it has been rumored to arrive with iPhone 6SE moniker. However, the text present on Apple’s invitation indicates that it will release the upcoming smartphones with iPhone 7 moniker.

The upcoming iPhones will be fueled by Apple A10 chipset. The iPhone 7 models will reportedly launch with a starting storage variant of 32 GB. One of the iPhone 7 models is likely to come with a highest storage option of 256 GB.
As iPhone 7 rumors have revealed, the new Apple phones will come with rearranged antenna bands and instead of 3.5 mm audio jack, users will be able to connect earphones through the Lightning port. Other rumors allow that it may come with a Smart Connector and a new black color variant.
