It appears that the gold versions of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are also going to be announced soon, because leaked images of this version have been shown off in the latest camera shoot. As you can tell, Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus is probably going to be the first ever iPhone to sport a dual camera, with the added benefit being that the device could merge both sensor’s images to thoroughly improve the overall image and video quality.

It’s also been rumored that iPhone 7 Plus could also feature 3GB of RAM, suggesting that the smartphone could also end up becoming the first ever iPhone to pack this much RAM. While 3GB of RAM will consume large amounts of battery, iPhone 7 Plus has been tipped to feature a 3,500mAh battery, which is massive, even by Apple’s standards. iPhone 6s Plus comes with a 2,715mAh battery, and jumping all the way through with a 3,500mAh juicer sounds a bit farfetched.

All of Apple’s iPhone 7 models are going to feature an A10 chipset, and this SoC is manufactured on TSMC’s 16nm FinFET architecture, resulting in better performance and efficiency across the board. The chipset is also said to house a much more powerful GPU from Imagination Technologies’ PowerVR lineup, so we’ll update you as soon as we get to hear more updates on the matter.

There is also a rumor suggesting that iPhone 7 Plus could come without a physical home button and is going to be replaced with a 3D Touch home button instead. Apart from this, we keep hearing rumors of the removal of the headphone pack, but there is only one month remaining for both iPhones to be announced, so we’re sure that we can summon up a little patience in order to get to know what exactly is present inside both handsets.
