iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are not away from launch and their prices have already leaked out. Though, the prices do not incite any element of surprise in us, as the pricing model is the same that Apple has used for all the previous iPhones. The price leak comes from Dutch sources, who also state that 25th September will be the official iPhone 6s release date. However, please note that the device may arrive in Netherlands a week later than Germany, France, and the US, where it will be reaching on 18th September.
An interesting fact that this leak shows us is that Apple will repeat its habit of releasing three variants of each iPhone. Both the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will be available in 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB models.
The leaked prices are as mentioned below:
iPhone 6S Prices
- iPhone 6S (Space Grey) 16GB/64GB/128GB (€699/€799/€899)
- iPhone 6S (Silver) 16GB/64GB/128GB(€699/€799/€899)
- iPhone 6S (Gold) 16/64GB/128GB(€699/€799/€899)
iPhone 6S Plus Prices
- iPhone 6S Plus (Space Grey) 16GB/64GB/128GB (€799/€899/€999)
- iPhone 6S Plus (Silver) 16GB/64GB/128GB (€799/€899/€999)
- iPhone 6S Plus (Gold) 16/64GB/128GB (€799/€899/€999)
As you can see from the above numbers, the pricing basically starts at €699 for iPhone 6s and €799 in case of the iPhone 6s Plus.
Keeping the above pricing structure in mind, it will be safe to assume that pricing standard of the upcoming iPhones will stick to the same Apple pricing habits.
Therefore, iPhone 6s should sell for $649, $749, and $849 for 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB models respectively. Similarly, the iPhone 6s Plus should cost $749, $849, and $949 for the 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB variants respectively.
Though we expect the prices to be nearly same as the above mentioned figures, anything can happen when these next-gen iPhones are launched. So stay tuned!
