The rumor also suggests that Apple may launch the Smart Keyboard and the Apple Pencil at the same time. The origin of this rumor is Japan and the alleged sources are said to be in close proximity with the Cupertino company. The iPad Pro, Apple Pencil, and Smart Keyboard were showcased at the event last month alonside the new iPhones.
The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus have already crossed 13 million units in sales in the first week of launch itself. Meanwhile, the iPad Pro and the accessories are given on the website of Apple as coming in November. The spill-proof Smart Keyboard will serve as a protective case as well as a physical qwerty keyboard for the iPad Pro, while the Apple Pencil will act as a stylus and will allow users to write and draw with various amounts of pressure resulting in various styles of handwriting.
Pricing of the iPad Pro starts at $799 for the 32GB WiFi-only variant, while you will have to shell out $949 for the 128GB variant. The Wi-Fi+ Cellular variant of the iPad Pro costs $1079 and gets 128GB storage. The Smart Keyboard and the Apple Pencil cost $169 and $99 respectively.
The rumor says that the launch of these gadgets should be in the first week of November, which is a good move by Apple to increase the sales during the festive season.
