A lot of rumors have been going on about the upcoming iPad Air 3, mainly about its design. It is being said that Apple is designing the iPad Air 3 by taking a lot of inspiration from the new features it introduced in the iPad Pro. And this rumor has been confirmed by a new leaked drawing of the iPad Air 3 that shows the tablets cutouts and dimensions. Though we don’t usually believe such renders that can be created by anyone, this one is said to come from a reliable source.
According to the leak shared by Engadget, the iPad Air 3 will sport a quad-speaker setup seen in the iPad Pro. It will also get the bigger iPad’s Smart Connector feature, which suggests that we will also see a Smart Keyboard for the iPad Air 3 during its launch. The primary camera on the upcoming tablet will get a LED flash.
Of course, these new features come at the cost of the dimensions of the iPad Air 3. The table will be only a bit wider and thicker than the iPad Air 2. But the measurements are 240 x 169.6 x 6.15 mm, with just .05mm and .1mm of difference in respectively in terms of width and thickness. So it will not be noticeable during regular usage.
The iPad Air 3 is rumored to get launched sometime in March alongside the upcoming 4-inch affordable iPhone (probably to be known as the iPhone 5e).
