If you are an iOS user who loves jailbreaking, then you will agree with us that this is a really frustrating time for all the jailbreak users. It has been a lot of months since Pangu’s iOS 9 jailbreak got patched, and our wait for the next jailbreak seems unending. Everybody is waiting with eyes and ears open for just a drop of information from TaiG or Pangu, who are the obvious centres of expectations in the jailbreak community. All the eyes are now set upon the iOS 9.3 jailbreak.

Let’s talk about the iOS 9.2 jailbreak first. It has been made clear by industry experts that iOS 9.2 has got a lot of security vulnerabilities, and even thought it is jailbreakable, no team would release such a jailbreak that would put the users at extreme risks. Needless to say, iOS 9.2.1 patched a lot of security exploits, thus making it harder to jailbreak. But we did know that Italian hacker Luca Todesco had found an iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak, though he won’t be releasing it. The reason why it would be foolish to have an iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak is that iOS 9.3 is already in the beta phase and its final public release is not away. So an iOS 9.3 jailbreak would be much better, as iOS 9.3 would be more stable and would bring new features to the firmware.

So talking about the iOS 9.3 jailbreak, Luca Todesco had claimed earlier that he had jailbroken iOS 9.3 beta 1. However, he did not release it because it wasn’t a finished product and needed proper moulding into a publicly-usable tool. While Pangu has told its fans via 25PP that they should update to iOS 9.2.1 to remain safe from security vulnerabilities, it is being said that TaiG is preparing for an iOS 9.3 jailbreak release. Everything is being kept under wraps, but we are sure that even the Pangu team is working on the iOS 9.3 jailbreak.

According to YouTuber iCrackUriDevice, the official release of iOS 9.3 update is drawing closer, and we should probably expect it to get released in March. Right after the release of iOS 9.3, we can expect Pangu or TaiG to release the iOS 9.3 jailbreak anytime after that.

Rumors also say that some new jailbreak teams might be working on jailbreaking iOS 9.3, which is quite possible. For those who think that it is not likely, a report from CrossMap quotes a Twitter user called enMTW who has tweeted that he has jailbroken iOS 9.3 beta 3 and will be releasing it soon. Though we don’t have reasons to believe this hacker, we certainly cannot rubbish his claims altogether. A lot of jailbreak fans have confirmed with him via his Twitter account that he will release the jailbreak indeed. If this is true, then the iOS 9.3 jailbreak will surely be released in March after the final version of iOS 9.3 is released to the public.

Let’s wait for more developments until then. Share your guesses in the comments below.
