Apple has been rigorously updating iOS 9 to make the firmware free of bugs, make it perform better, and to add many more useful features to it. The latest public release is iOS 9.2, which has been released quite a many days ago. But we are yet to receive an iOS 9.2 jailbreak, and all the eyes are fixed on Pangu, TaiG, Luca Todesco, and other popular jailbreak developers.

After iOS 9.1 patched the iOS 9 jailbreak, it was normal for everyone to expect a Pangu iOS 9.2 jailbreak. However, we haven’t heard from the team since the Pangu 9 jailbreak was killed. Though, there have been some new developments in the scenario. TaiG’s jailbreak partner 3K Assistant had gained some attention a couple of weeks back when it announced that they had jailbroken iOS 9.2 and would release it soon. But the post was modified after a few days and the jailbreak part was completely removed. So all the hopes for a TaiG 9.2 jailbreak subsided once again.

ios 9.2 jailbreak, pangu 9.2 jailbreak

Last week, Luca Todesco jailbroke iOS 9.2.1 beta 2 and posted a screenshot on Twitter as a proof. The image showed Cydia running on his iPhone 6 on a jailbroken iOS 9.2.1 beta 2 firmware. Todesco is the same hacker who had found iOS 8.4.1 jailbreak exploits, but had not released the jailbreak. Well, the hacker announced that he won’t be releasing the iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak, which caused a lot of unrest and disappointment among jailbreak fans.

And when iOS 9.3 beta 1 was released around four days ago, Luca was quick to jailbreak the new beta too and release a video of the same as a proof. And as was expected, the hacker again confirmed that the jailbreak won’t be released. But there’s a catch in this situation. Luca Todesco had worked with the Pangu team on the iOS 9 jailbreak, and he was most probably involved in finding the exploits. So if our guess is logical, then Luca might just pass on the iOS 9.3 jailbreak exploits to Pangu, and we might get a Pangu iOS 9.3 jailbreak soon instead of the iOS 9.2 jailbreak.

If an iOS 9.2 jailbreak is to come, it will be released within this month. But if Pangu or some other team plans to release an iOS 9.3 jailbreak, then it will be only in February after the public release of iOS 9.3 when we will get to see the next jailbreak tool.
