Indian smartphone maker Intex just launched the successor of its very popular previous year’s budget smartphone Intex Aqua Power HD in the form of the Intex Aqua Power HD 4G. The Aqua Power HD 4G has been priced Rs. 8,363 and has been listed on Intex’s official website.

The Aqua Power HD 4G sports a 5-inch HD(720p) IPS display with a pixel density of 294ppi and measures 144×72.8×9.6mm. The device is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6592M processor with each core clocked at 1GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone offers 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

In the camera department, there is an 8MP primary rear shooter with dual-LED flash on the Aqua Power HD 4G, while on the front, there is a 5MP lens for selfies and video chats. The device has dual-SIM slots with 4G support, however, only one SIM can support 4G at a time.

Perhaps the only impressive feature of this device is its gigantic 3900mAh battery which should provide enough juice to last a day or two on normal to heavy usage. The company has although promised up to 7 hours of talk-time and up to 390 hours of standby time.

The device will be soon made available with both online and offline retailers in Blue, Champagne, and Grey colour variants anytime soon, although no fixed date has been announced yet. Whether these features are good enough to lure fans at a price point of Rs. 8,363 remains to be seen. Till then, stay tuned for more news and updates.
