Intex has launched yet another entry-level smartphone in the Indian market. The new smartphone sports a 4-inch display and comes in Blue, Back, and White colour options. The Intex Aqua Eco 3G is priced at Rs 2,400.
While the smartphone market is obsessed with 4G right now, Intex has launched a 3G smartphone for the entry-level users. A 3G smartphone is not a bad idea for the sub-Rs. 2,500 segment. However, with free 4G services floating in the market, the 4G smartphones are likely to capture a lot of the market share.
The Intex Aqua Eco 3G sports a 4-inch display with WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core MTK 6572AX processor along with 256MB of RAM. The Intex Aqua Eco 3G comes with 512MB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via micro SD card. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
The new smartphone comes equipped with a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) camera on the front and back. While the rear camera comes with a dual-LED flash, the front camera is supported by a single LED flash. Connectivity options on the 3G smartphone include WLAN 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, FM Radio, USB, and 3.5mm headphone jack. It measures 124.3 x 63.3 x 11.2mm and weighs 118 grams.The dual-SIM smartphone is backed by a 1400mAh battery that offers up to 5 hours of talk time and around 220 hours of standby tune.
Last week, the company had launched Intex Aqua Strong 5.2 with 4G VoLTE support at Rs. 6,390. It sports a 5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display, 1GHz MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor, ARM Mali-T720 MP1 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The Intex Raze II was also listed on the company’s website at Rs 4,990. The Aqua Raze II features a 5-inch IPS display, 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek (MTK6580A) processor, 16GB of internal storage, and two 5-megapixel cameras.
