They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Instagram is a picture sharing app which allows the users to edit pictures and share it with their friends and family. There are more than 400 million users on Instagram and they vary from the people in one’s gathering to various other celebrities, athletes, fashion models etc.
Instagram is available on various platforms ranging from iOS, Android, Windows phone as well as the website, all of which require an account to function. There are various filters available for free that can be applied to the pictures, various creative tools allow the users manipulate contrast, brightness as well as saturation etc.
Recently, Instagram released their latest software update for Android. The new update features version 7.15.0 and contains a bunch of new updates. The new version makes the app much better by including three more filters such as fade features, color overlay and various others ways to improve the pictures by new filters. Emoji/ Emoticons can be added to hashtags in the captions and share it anywhere. Other than that are the regular stability updates and bug fixes that improve the overall Instagram app.
Instagram’s update v7.15.0 released on Jan 24, 2015, weighs 12.41 MB in size and can be downloaded across all android versions above 4.1 (Jelly Bean, API 16), however, the targeted device here is the latest version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow (API 23).
The update can be downloaded for free from Google Play store, while for the ones who don’t have access to the Play store can download from the various sources available online such as apkmirror. However, before installing, the user has to ensure that the Unknown sources box is unchecked. To uncheck the Unknown sources box, head over to Settings > Security.
