Just recently, The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls Gekijō, or The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls Theater, manga’s key visual, anime’s cast, and the premiere date were revealed by the official website for the TV anime adaptation of Bandai Namco Entertainment and Kuma-Jet.
Each episode will be five minutes long, and the anime will premiere on Tokyo MX and BS11 on April 4 at 9:55 p.m. UTC+09, and then will air on Saga TV on April 5 at 1:55 a.m UTC+09.

The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls Gekijō is being directed by Mankyū, the director of anime Donyatsu, DD Fist of the North Star, and Mobile Suit Gundam-san, at the studio called Gathering where Mankyū’s previous works were such as PUCHIM@S. Puchimas! Petit Idolmaster is a four-panel manga series written and illustrated by Akane where PUCHIM@S was adapted from.
Bandai Namco Entertainment is credited with the original work, while Kuma-Jet is credited with the anime’s original character designs. A mini-drama on the franchise’s official radio program and an anime short that debuted in November were already inspired by The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls Gekijō manga.
The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls Gekijō is a five-panel manga irregularly serialized in the social mobile game application of The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls. It was used often as a tie-in to game events and other media projects in the franchise. Only can be found in these manga panels are the cute and comical daily lives of these idols.
The first compiled book volume was published by Kadokawa’s ASCII Media Works in January 2015, and the fifth volume was shipped on October 27. The sixth volume will be published by Kadokawa on March 27.
