Indian electronics company and tablet maker, iBall has launched a new tablet under the Slide series, called iBall Slide Brace X1 Mini, which is priced at Rs 12,999. This is the mini version of the parent tablet, iBall Slide Brace X1 which was launched earlier this year.

iBall has had a good market hold in India and plans to expand its electronic chain by adding the Brace X1 Mini. Specs-wise the gadget has an 8-inch HD (1280×800) pixels IPS display. The main camera is of 8-megapixels with the front cam at 5-megapixels. The rear camera comes with panorama, face beauty, live photo, voice capture, face detection, continuous shot, smile shot, HDR, self-timer, and zero shutter delay options. That is quite reasonable resolution when it comes to a tablet. The storage capacity is of 16GB, further expandable up to 32GB through a micro-SD card. The battery is a standard one at 5,200 mAh.
On the connectivity part, it supports both 2G and 3G, alongside GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth and micro-USB with OTG support. There is also the voice calling feature embedded in the device that makes it eccentric.
It has dual-sim functionality and built-in speakers. The Brace X1 Mini has the ability to support up to 15 Indian languages.
