Huawei is getting ready with yet another Dual rear camera smartphone. The device in the talks is the new Mate 9 that has just been leaked in China. Huawei Mate 8 was one of the best smartphones that launched last year, but the availability was limited to few countries and India wasn’t one of them.
Coming back to Huawei Mate 9, the teaser image reveals the full and final design of the device which is quite identical to Mate 8, but this one comes with much slimmer bezels, but it might not be true considering Huawei Mate 8 had class leading screen-to-body ratio of 78%. The device sports a massive 6-inch display, but it remains to be whether Huawei will retain the same Full HD panel or up its display panel with Quad HD panel.
The Mate 9 is expected to be powered by Kirin 960 SoC which should be on par with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 and if Kirin 955 chipset which debuted with Mate 8 is any clue, we expect Kirin 960 to be a powerhouse. It is anticipated to pack 6GB RAM to compete with the processing powers. On the rear, you can find P9 type dual rear camera setup; each cam will feature a 20-megapixel rear camera sensor with Dual Tone LED flash.
Huawei Mate 9 will also feature a fingerprint sensor on the back side for extra security. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Dual SIM, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS, and USB Type-C port. Lastly, the battery on board might be a 4000mAh unit so that it will have enough power to last long. Now that the promotional image has been leaked, we can expect the device to be launched in a month or two.
