The Huawei Honor Play 5X is finally up for pre-orders from Chinese online retailers VMall and TMall. The new phone comes in two versions, and features metal unibody and a fingerprint sensor. Similar to Meizu Charm Metal, the Huawei Honor smartphone is also an affordable device.
Priced $157, one variant comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory. Another variant features 3GB of RAM along with 32GB built-in storage, and is priced at $220. Both the models come with a microSD support up to 128GB, and are now available for pre-order, with an expected shipping date on November 3rd.
In terms of specs, the Huawei Honor Play 5X is powered by a 1.8GHz hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, and the Adreno 418 GPU. Equipped with a 5.5-inch display with Full HD (1080×1920 pixel) resolution, the phone features a 13-megapixel primary camera with a f/2.0 aperture and OIS support, while a 5-megapixel front-facing camera shoots selfies . A 3,000mAh battery powers the handset. Android 5.1.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed.
