Huawei Built Google Nexus 7 2016 Tablet Rumored To Launch Soon

While Google has removed the HTC built Nexus 9 from its store, recent speculations suggest that the company is coming up with a new ‘Google Nexus 7 2016’. According to Neuro Gadget, with Google ditching the Nexus naming with the new Pixel smartphones, the new Nexus 7 might also not feature the ‘Nexus’ branding. The Google Nexus 7 2016 might be completely re-branded.

As per previous rumors, the new Nexus 7 2016 will be manufactured by the Chinese manufacturer Huawei. While there aren’t too many details as of now, several reports have confirmed the existence of the upcoming tablet. As per a Verge report, the new Nexus 7 2016 is on track for release before the end of the year.

The new tablet is expected to run Android Nougat operating system. The rumors about Andromeda operating system seem unlikely to be true for now. The Andromeda OS is the merger between Google’s Chrome OS and Android OS. It is expected to bring desktop capabilities to Android Devices along with several innovative features to the future tablets.

As per the leaks from HuaweiBlog.de, the Huawei Built Google Nexus 7 2016 is expected to feature a 7-inch AMOLED display. It is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 820 CPU with Adreno 530 and 4GB of RAM. The base variant might be supported by 64 GB internal storage. Whether it bears Nexus brand name or not, the new tablet will be an exciting device.
