HTC U11 Features and Specifications

Before we dive into the specs sheet, it’s worth noting the new “Edge Sense” feature. This lets you squeeze the phone in order to execute specific actions. For example, to take a screenshot or snap a selfie, all you need to do is squeeze the U11’s frame. The feature is customizable, meaning you can state how hard the frame be pressed to trigger an action.

The Sense companion launched with HTC U Ultra also makes its presence felt in the new flagship. And before you ask about the “360 real-life recording”, let us clear it is not about the camera, but audio recording capabilities, powered by 4 microphones.

The HTC U11 flagship is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC with a 5.5-inch QHD Super LCD 5 panel protected by Gorilla Glass 5. There is 4 GB of RAM along with 64 GB inbuilt storage, which is further expandable.

On the camera front, HTC U11 offers 12 MP UltraPixel 3-branded unit with 1.4-micron pixel size, f/1.7 aperture, optical image stabilization, a dual-LED flash, and 4K video recording on the rear. While, for the selfies, U11 accompanies a 16 MP sensor with Full HD recording and selfie panorama mode. All this is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery, which supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0.

As far as the dimensions are concerned, HTC U11 measures 153.9 x 75.9 x 7.9mm and weighs 169g.
