The MWC 2016 that is to be held in Barcelona is fast approaching, and we have already got our hands filled with leaks and rumors about the next major flagships including the LG G5 and the Samsung Galaxy S7. However, some manufacturers want to hold on to their horses and let some time pass before they unveil their next flagship device, and one such company is HTC.
The last release from the company was the HTC One X9, but what we really want to know is the details on the next “M” phone, speculated to be known as the HTC One M10. Also codenamed as “Perfume”, the One M10 is rumored to get a design similar to the HTC One A9. Just for your information, the A9 is a fresh phone in the HTC One lineup and does not borrow major design cues from any HTC phone. As hinted by leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks), One A9 fans will find the One M10 appealing. This directly suggests that the M10 will get a metal unibody with a slim design. So basically, the HTC One M10 will follow iPhone 6’s design just like the One A9. Also, the Sense UI too might be a stripped version of the regular Sense UI.
It also seems like the HTC One M10 will not be displayed at the MWC, so we might have to wait a bit longer for an official announcement. The One M10 will get a 23MP rear camera, Snapdragon 820, IP68 certification for dust and water resistance, 3000mAh battery, and a fingerprint scanner. More leaks are expected soon, so stay tuned and we’ll keep you updated.
