Jack Tong, HTC, North Asia President stated the manufacturing company will soon produce more entry level 4G handsets in the first quarter. The executive said that HTC is going to sell these entry level versions online, along with specially designed versions.
It seems HTC is planning for online sales similar to Chinese Company Xiaomi, which came up with ton of online sales. By offering low priced handsets throughout the web, HTC expects to balance the distribution of its own top-shelf handsets through the typical channels.
Earlier we reported, HTC is releasing sequel to HTC One (M8) named HTC Hima in Mar 2015. The new flagship is coming with much exciting features including HTC Sense 7 UI.
Well, it would be interesting to note, how the copied strategy from Xiaomi works for HTC’s entry level 4G handsets.
