HTC Desire Eye has been in the market for more than a year now, and the phone has sold decently. HTC has been very well praised for quick and timely updates it brought to its high-end phones. The company has updated a handful of its devices to Android Marshmallow, and a reliable source suggests that the HTC Desire Eye will get the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update with Sense 7 in March.
In a tweet hardly half an hour ago, popular tipster LlabTooFer said that the HTC Desire Eye will get updated to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow next month with the new Sense 7 UI running on top. We must tell you that the leaker has been a reliable source of information since quite some time now. In January this year, he had tweeted that the HTC Desire Eye was confirmed to get the aforementioned update. And now he suggests that the update might be rolled out next month, that’s in March.
We would like to draw your attention to the details tweeted by LlabTooFer. As you can notice in the screenshot above, he tipster mentions “HTC Desire EYE (EU)”. This suggests that the update will be released for Europe next month, and it is possible that the update will reach other regions shortly after. We can be wrong though, so let’s wait for the next month to reveal the real facts.
The HTC Desire Eye currently runs Android Lollipop with Sense 6.0 UI on top. Are you excited for the much-awaited Marshmallow update?
