Last month, industry insider Shinobi602 revealed that to his knowledge, Horizon Zero Dawn has been delayed to 2017. The game was announced at last year’s E3 and is expected to arrive this year. However, Shinobi602 may not be on point this time, as another NeoGAF user has pointed out a flyer they received with their copy of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. The flyer, seen here, makes it clear that the game will be available in 2016 itself.

Although Shinobi602’s comment above suggests that the game will come out on a PS4K, he soon followed it up with a clarification suggesting that the game will still run fine on the PS4, which is the main console the game has been developed for. Horizon Zero Dawn is developed by Guerilla Games, developers of the Resistance games, and like Resistance’s previous games, is an exclusive to the PlayStation 4 (although it might certainly appear on the rumoured PS4K).

The game’s tentative official release year remains 2016, and the game is expected to arrive later this year. If a delay is indeed in order, we will likely hear of it when we see more of the game at E3 2016, which takes place in a month. Let us know what you think about the uncertainty of Horizon Zero Dawn’s release date in the comments below.
