My Hero Academia season one ended a few months ago and since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for the next season to arrive. The creator of the series did confirm that the show will be renewed for another season. However, no release date of My Hero Academia season 2 was provided and fans currently don’t know when they will be able to enjoy new episodes of their favorite anime.
My Hero Academia Creator To Attend Jump Festa 2017
Recently, it was reported that the creator of My Hero Academia, Kohei Horikoshi will attend the Jump Festa 2017 event which will be held this December. He is expected to update fans regarding the next season of My Hero Academia.
Kohei Horikoshi is the person behind My Hero Academia / Boku no Hero. He is known as a very shy person as he appears rarely on television. In January 2016, he appeared on television for the very first time for an interview, in which he wore a gas mask to hide his face. This is how shy he is. “I have thought this is a kind of job I don’t need to appear before the public,” he said. “But I have decided [to join] because I received advice from great people that I should. I will try not to bother the voice actors,”
My Hero Academia Season 2 Release Date To Be Announced
Now, it is confirmed that he will attend the Jump Festa event in December and will appear on the stage of My Hero Academia. He will be joined by some voice actors including Daiki Yamashita and Nobuhiko Okamoto. As the creator and the voice actors will be together, there is a big chance that they will reveal something major regarding the next season of My Hero Academia. Rumor is the creator will reveal the release date along with the plot of My Hero Academia season 2. Though there is no word on whether he will wear a gas mask this time or not.
Jump Fest 2017
Jump Festa 2017 is currently scheduled to be held on December 17 and will end on December 18. The event will take place at Makuhari Messe, Tokyo, Japan and is sponsored by Shueisha. It is one of the biggest events out there for Anime fans as many big Manga artists host panels and reveals stuff about their upcoming projects.
My Hero Academia Season 2 Release Date
My Hero Academia season 2 will most probably arrive sometime in 2017. The season is said to cover the events of the Sports Festival Arc.
