Mods are becoming common with games. It is always thrilling to see those remarkable changes done to labels we already know; it makes you want to play the game over again. More crazy is when worlds from two different games are weaved seamlessly together into one. We have seen lots of such mods done with GTA 5 (five from my last count) but recently Halo 5: Guardians got a share of it (what is it with all these games with number 5?).

Halo 5- Guardians Multiplayer Map Mod Has Super Mario 64 Castle1

Halo 5: Guardians has a forge mode which allows players to build their own maps. A player that simply goes by the name Bearskopff explored the possibilities this mode presents and was able to reproduce the castle in the world of Super Mario 64 in which Halo is playable. No video has been released but the images will make you reminisce the good old days. Forge mode appears to be one of the coolest things that have happened to gamers and the world of video game.

Halo is one of the few games that get constant updates and there is the possibility that such maps will be available for other gamers to access. There are other titles that got modifications recently (this year precisely) from gamers and they include GoldenEye 007 and Metal Gear Solid. There are also strong indications that the mod of Metal Gear Solid may find its way into the market.

If you are already thinking of doing something crazy (like swapping characters from one game to another or importing one of Siphon Filter’s armory that will make your gameplay easier) think again. You may love what you see when two worlds come to one but it actually takes a great amount of time to achieve. So tell us, if you are given a chance to create a mod using Halo 5: Guardians, what would be its content?
