If you’ve been using YouTube, you might know how it feels when a video buffers. Getting to see that old-school circular animation is probably one of the worst nightmares for viewers. Irked the monotonous interface, many even leave the page within seconds.
But, looks like Google has finally heard the pain of YouTube viewers. The search giant has started testing new video loading animations in the YouTube app, promising a major revamp in coming months.
Google working on YouTube’s look and feel is definitely a heart throbbing news, especially for those spend who spend most of their time exploring video content. The search giant has tested at least three video loading animations till now, one of which could soon make it to the stable version.
See the screenshots below:
The first animation which we found on the app looked fairly inspired from Google’s three year old Android KitKat, specifically from its boot screen. The second featured red and blue circles, while the last and the most intriguing one showed off a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
But, it is important to note that this is not the first time we’ve seen a new loading animation for YouTube. Few week back, a castle animation was also spotted by a bunch of users. We could see more in coming weeks as Google runs a check on multiple options before moving to the final pick.
Let us know what you think of these animations in the comments section.
