Google has released another update to the Play Store that takes the version to 7.8.74. Released a couple of days back, the update doesn’t bring anything big for the store but we do expect a few bug fixes.
As far as the details of the update or the changelog are concerned, there is no mention of it. We don’t exactly know what the Google Play Store 7.8.74 update will bring to the table. Google always makes sure that all the bugs and issues are fixed on a regular basis and this update seems to bring those fixes to the users.
The Play Store got a major change earlier this month when Google changed its app icon. The older versions of the had an app icon with the multicolour Play Store triangle on a white shopping bag. Google had dropped the white bag from the app icon of the Play Store and it now only has the Play Store triangle as the app icon.
Before this, the Play Store saw a revamped UI for the ‘My apps & games’ section. The section now shows much more detailed and relevant information about the apps that have an update available as well as the ones that have already been updated.
Google has already made the 7.8.74 Play Store update available for all the users but will be rolling out slowly. Most of the Android users will get the latest update in a few days and if you are one of those who wants it immediately, Google Play Store APK is here for you.
The APK for the Play Store can be downloaded from APK Mirror with a download size of 19.76 MB. You will need Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or above to install this update.
