The Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones are already available for pre-orders in the US, UK, Germany, Canada, and Australia. While the pre-orders will start in India from 13th October. In US, the Google Pixel smartphone prices start at $649.99 (approx. Rs. 43,300). Additionally, users choosing Verizon Wireless to buy their Pixel smartphones will get a Daydream View VR headset free. However, Indian users will not get a similar deal. In a new report, Google representative has confirmed that no such deal will be available in India. Indian users will have to purchase the Daydream View VR separately. The launch details of the new VR headset have not been revealed as yet.
The new smartphones are also priced a little higher in India. The Google Pixel is priced at Rs. 57,000 for the 32GB variant, and Rs. 66,000 for the 128GB variant. While the Google Pixel XL is priced at Rs. 67,000 for the 32GB variant, and Rs. 76,000 for the 128GB variant.
