Since the final episode of Game of Thrones season 6 aired on June 26 last year, the fans have been waiting for the new season. Now that there is still around one month left for the Season 7 to release, new spoilers are arriving very frequently. Check out in details.

Jon Snow’s True Identity 

We all know that the previous season revealed something really interesting which left fans speechless. In the previous season, Jon Snow’s real identity was revealed. What happened was that Bran Stark had a vision from the past in which he saw the Tower of Joy. Later on, Bran shortly found out that the vision was of his late father, Ned Stark. He actually saw a younger version of his father who was rushing towards the tower to find out how his sister, Lyanna is.

Several theories confirmed that Ned’s sister, Lyanna was previously kidnapped and raped by Rhaegar Targaryen. In fact, the person who was madly in love with Lyanna, King Robert Baratheon even believed this incident and was even depressed after her death. But it seems that there was more to what happened as according to Bran’s vision, Lyanna and Rhaegar had a child who happened to be our very own Jon Snow. Ned Stark actually took him in as his own son when Jon was just a little baby.

Jon Snow’s Real Name Revealed 

Bran’s vision revealed the true identity of Jon Snow and even confirmed that he is a real Stark as well as a Targaryen. Many fans are currently wondering what else will be revealed regarding Jon Snow in the next season of the show, and it seems that his real name will be the highlight this time. A magazine which goes by the name Empire has kind of revealed the real name of Jon Snow. According to the magazine, Jon Snow’s real name is Jaehaerys Targaryen. Many fans currently believe that this was the very name Lyanna whispered to Ned moments before she passed away.

The season 7 of Game of Thrones arriving on July 16, 2017. However, there will be only seven episodes unlike the previous seasons which aired ten episodes each.
