Samsung has some big plans up its sleeve for 2017 if renowned tipster Evan Blass is to be believed. He has leaked model numbers for Samsung Flagship offerings for 2017 and it includes Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Even The Indian Express reported along the similar lines.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 met a horrible fate but that hasn’t deterred the Korean manufacturer from releasing a successor. Apart from the Galaxy Note 8, the company is also working on its next flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Edge. The Galaxy S7 models had numbers SM-G930 and SM-G935, while the Galaxy S8 and the S8 Edge will have model numbers SM-G950 and SM-G955. The reason Samsung has ditched SM-G940 and SM-G945 is because it thinks the number “4” unlucky as reported by Value Walk.

Going by reports circulating in the Korean media, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will have a massive 6.2-inch screen size and a bezel-less design which will give it a 90% screen-to-body ratio. Samsung will also incorporate AI features in the same device.

The Galaxy Note 8 will have the 4k resolution display, first of its kind on a smartphone. Also, there will be huge improvements to the battery capacity. And as far as the camera is concerned, rumor hill suggest 30 MP shooter for the next Note iteration. The Note 8 will feature dual-camera setup on both the rear and front.

Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy Note 8 along with Galaxy S8 in April next year refuting the earlier rumors of MWC release. Still, there is no confirmation from Samsung on the subject so you should take all such news with a pinch of salt. But one thing is sure, the Galaxy Note 8 is going to recover all the loss caused by Note 7 debacle.
