Rumors around the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 have just started popping up, and we already have a rough idea of what specs and features the phablet will carry. We already know that the phone will get more RAM, a better processor, and other improvements in under-the-hood specs. However, it is another thing to get the rumors confirmed from a trusted source. A device reviewer and tipster on Weibo has leaked some new details about the Galaxy Note 6 today.

As we already know, Weibo is the source for a lot of trusted information regarding smartphones, chipsets, etc. The leakster has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will carry 6GB of RAM, something we have already heard from previous rumors. Also, the phablet is going to be powered by Snapdragon 823, which is the better version of Snapdragon 820. The device will carry a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED screen and will be juiced by a massive 4200mAh battery.

The Weibo post also says that the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will get laser autofocus for faster and more accurate focusing. Also, just like the Galaxy S7, the Note 6 will be IP68 certified and will be dustproof as well as waterproof. Lastly, the leak says that the phablet might have two different variants- one with a flat screen and one with a curved screen, likely the Galaxy Note 6 Edge.

Our only doubt is the 4200mAh battery suggested by the leak. In case that is true, then Samsung might have figured out a way to keep devices thin while increasing the battery capacity. Other than that, we don’t think the tipster is fibbing and we do believe that most of these details, if not all, will come true.
