Flipkart’s slightly controversial, but largely successful Big Billion Day sale is coming back this October.
The company has announced that it will hold its third consecutive annual mega sale from Oct 2 to Oct 6.

In addition to offering steep discounts on a wide range of products including televisions, smartphones, fashion accessories, and others, Flipkart is also preparing a no-cost-EMI payment option (equated monthly installment) for high-priced items.
Not only that, Flipkart is also extending a product exchange scheme to ‘lure’ shoppers into purchasing more.

“This year, our key focus is to ensure maximum value to our consumers by making quality products affordable and accessible,” said Kalyan Krishnamurthy, head, category design organization, at Flipkart, LiveMint reports.
“Great offers and exclusive partnerships will give our customers more options to choose from, and our innovative consumer finance, delivery and installation for large electronics and product exchange programs will only add to the customer delight this festive season.”
The continuation of the highly-anticipated Big Billion Day tradition reflects its massive success and popularity among Indian online shoppers. The last rendition of the mega sale, also happened in October, witnessed sales worth $300 million in just five days.
