Some days back, we had told you that the Nvidia GTX 1060 would be releasing soon. Well, we can’t clearly tell you the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 release date, but we can tell you that it is not too long from now. We can say that so confidently because a new real life image of the GTX 1060 has been leaked out today straight from China.
Posted on Reddit, the new image clearly shows the reference design for the new card. As you can clearly see, there’s no translucent window as seen in the GTX 1080 and GTX 1070, but the rest of the GTX 1060 design has been inspired from its higher-end brothers. Even the blower-type fan in all the three cards looks identical.
The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 is based on Pascal GP106 GPU and is expected to come with 1280 CUDA cores. The card might offer 192-bit memory bus with 6GB DDR5 memory. It will be a direct competitor to AMD’s Radeon RX 480 and is expected to release after the RX 480 is launched. So yes, we can assume the GTX 1060 may hit the market in July.
As for the GTX 1060 price, it is rumored that the GTX 1060 Founder’s Edition will be priced around $250-$280, while the regular version might cost around $220. More leaks are awaited, so stay tuned.
