Fifty Shades Darker is currently scheduled to release in the second week of February 2017, and the main lead actor, Jamie Dornan has shared how he feels about those who criticize it. Dornan also shared how he feels about playing the role of Christian Grey in the movie.
Jamie Dornan On Criticism
When asked by GQ Australia regarding what he thinks about those who hate the movie, Dornan simply stated that he doesn’t care at all. He said that over 100 million people like it, while some just don’t like it at all, and he is completely fine with it. He further stated that he doesn’t blame those who hate the movie has they don’t know a lot about the movie, and he too has opinions about stuff he doesn’t know a lot about.
‘As much as it has 100 million fans, there’s a lot of people who aren’t into it and are very vocal about that,’ Dornan told GQ Australia . ‘I don’t blame people. I’ve got plenty of opinions about things I don’t know a lot about, or that I don’t give a chance — it’s just the nature of the beast. I’m not going to lose any sleep over it.’
Jamie Dornan Shares How He Feels As Christian Grey
Jamie Dornan was also kind enough to share how he feels while playing the role of Christian Grey in Fifty Shades. Dornan plays the role of Christian Grey, a millionaire playboy who managed to steal the heart of a young girl, Anastasia Steele. However, he claimed that in real life, he is actually the exact opposite of what he is in the movie. He stated that he isn’t into the S&M thing in real life. He did say that he respects other people’s sexual preferences, as there are many ways to please each other. But it surprises him how he can play the role of such person, as he is a light-hearted person in real life.
Fifty Shades Darker To Be Jamie Dornan’s Last Fifty Shades Film
Dornan also confirmed that this is going to be his last Fifty Shades movie. According to GQ, Dornan is ready to leave his character, Christian Grey, and move on to a next project. Dornan claims that doing to Fifty Shades films back to back is enough for him. This means that he will turn down the offer of playing the role of Christian Grey in the third Fifty Shades film.
