After releasing series of stable updates to the company’s Facebook lite app, the social network giant released a beta version to developers with build number 11.0.0.1.140. The previous beta version was 10.0.0.6.140 which was made stable yesterday.
As per the company’s changelog, there aren’t many improvements with this beta version, however, the app now uses fewer data in all network conditions irrespective of the user whether he is using a Wi-Fi connection or on mobile data.
Furthermore, the company updated all the native app libraries to the Android N making the app functional with Android N developer Preview users. That said, there isn’t much to speak about the beta release apart from these two changes.
The app is open to all developers and users whoever are already enrolled in the beta program can download the app directly from Google Play Store. Non-beta registered users can download the APK from apkpure.com and install it manually. However, we suggest you to install this app with caution as it is a beta version. However, if you are looking for a stable version, you can grab it from here.
