Spice has launched two new entry-level smartphones in its XLife-series, the XLife 403E and the XLife 480Q. Both of the smartphones are now listed on the company’s official site with complete specifications as well as pricing details. The XLife 403E has a retail price of Rs. 2,679, while the XLife 480Q will be priced at Rs. 5,399. Although there is no official confirmation on the availability of the devices, we expect that Spice will announce these devices very soon.
In accordance with the official listing, the XLife 403E features a 4-inch screen and offers 3G / 2G network support on dual-SIM functionality. It is driven by a 1GHz single-core chip with a meager 256 MB of RAM. This can be, however, expanded up to 16 GB via microSD card. There’s a 2-megapixel primary camera unit along with a 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter.
Powered by a 1,400 mAh battery (5h of talk-time on 3G), the device comes with the Android 4.4 kitKat pre-installed. The phone measures 124 x 64 x 9.5 mm and will be available in Black color.
On the other hand, there is the Spice XLife 480Q that sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) screen. It also supports double-SIM (GSM/GSM) functionality. Other innards of the handset include a 1 gig of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32 GB), a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, and a 1,750 mAh battery. A 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel front camera make the photography a lot better than the XLife 403E. The device measures 133.5 x 68.5 x 9.4 mm.
Both the Spice XLife 403E and the Spice XLife 480Q smartphones include several connectivity alternatives like 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and micro-USB.
