Elephone has been making great efforts recently to hog the limelight with new smartphones that carry great specs, interesting features, and cool designs. The company produces inexpensive smartphones that are good-looking and well-packed with features, which is why the brand has gained some significant amount of popularity in the last few months. The company has been working on a new phone called Elephone S3, and it is being said that the phone will be released in April with a bezel-less screen and a metallic unibody.
A GizmoChina report says that the Elephone S3 will feature a 5.2-inch FullHD screen (1920 x 1080 resolution). There are no capacitive touch buttons, so all those Back, Menu, and Running Tasks buttons will be hidden on the display and can be brought up with a gesture. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
The design-focused S3 sports a 13MP Sony camera on the rear, and there will a fingerprint sensor too that sits on the back. The battery is a 2,100 mAh unit, which we think is a bit on the lesser side. But then again, it is difficult to get a slim body and a large battery at the same time.
The price of the Elephone S3 hasn’t been revealed yet, but it is being said that the phone will be sold in Grey, Gold, Silver, and Rose Gold colors. The S3 will be released next month, so we’ll let you know as soon as we hear anything about it.
