Its been a month since Chinese startup Elephone started their business in India with Elephone G7. Now the firm is all ready to launch its second device dubbed Elephone P8000 in the country starting August 9th. The company will offer the handsets in open-sale via all major online retailers including Amazon, Snapdeal, Flipkart etc.
Specs-wise, the Elephone P8000 comes with a 5.5 inch Full HD display, and is powered by a MediaTek MT6753 1.5GHz octa-core processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop, it packs 16GB of expandable storage, a 13 megapixel rear snapper with LED flash, and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for video calling and selfies. A big 4,200mAh battery lights on the smartphone.
As far as connectivity is concerned, the P8000 features 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac.
Though the official price is not yet confirmed, the Elephone P8000 is expected to be priced at approx. Rs. 11,000. For service support, Elephone will be providing door-step services in India, for any repair/replacement issues, which might take up to one week.
