According to Ark System Works, upon its release, the Dragon Ball FighterZ will be the very first truly remarkable fighting game based on the Dragon Ball series. The game was announced recently by Bandai Namco and upon its release, the publisher revealed that fans will soon hear more news on the game’s character roster.
The popular Japanese gaming magazine Shonen Jump also confirmed that the fans will find Trunks among the playable Dragon Ball FighterZ characters. Other recently confirmed titles for the game are Sun Gohan, Vegeta, Frieza, Sun Goku, Majin Buu, and Cell.

Based on the information about the upcoming Dragon Ball FighterZ and some rumor suggestions, it is possible that the game might also release on the Hybrid console Nintendo Switch as well. However, it will definitely be released on Nintendo Switch after the release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
In addition, the game producer Tomoko Hiroki was recently talking to GamesBlog in an interview and he stated that a Nintendo Switch version release is possible in future, but that would mainly depend on the demand by the fans. On the other hand, Nintendo Switch has more than enough power to seamlessly run the game as well. This will definitely be considered a plus point towards the Nintendo Switch release of the Dragon Ball FighterZ.
Once again, if it happens as Hiroki said it would, it will definitely be released on the Nintendo Switch after the release on other major consoles and PC.
