The Destiny 2 gameplay reveal is going to happen this month as confirmed by the developer. Fans are excited for all the new things the new sequel is going to offer. The previous game is a console specific title, but Destiny 2 is going to be available on PC as well. Furthermore, the game will also be available on all the major consoles of this generation.

According to Activision, PC version of the game will offer lot more than any of the PC port of the game. Activision CEO, Eric Hirshberg recently commented in the Post-earnings conference call that there was a major problem with the original Destiny. The game was not able to keep up with the demand of the players and it was unable to offer a steady stream of content. However, the Destiny 2 will offer a steady stream of content and will try to keep up with the demand.

The CEO commented that;

“Destiny’s engagement has been the best in Activision’s history. We now have a lot of confidence that we’re going to be able to keep up with demand with that steady stream of content and sort of keep pace with our players’ engagement post-release of Destiny 2. As you know, with Destiny 2’s content, we’re coupling Bungie’s great visionary leadership with multiple AAA developers that have a proven track record here at Activision to help us make sure we have just one great piece of content after another to keep the community engaged.“

Furthermore, Hirshberg commented more about the PC version of the game and said that;

“We’re committed to delivering meaningful features that are bespoke for the PC community.”

This means that the upcoming Destiny 2 is going to offer new features on the PC version of the game. According to Hirshberg’s previous comments, the game will offer more on PC than the consoles.

No more of the critical information has been revealed rather than what the game’s reveal trailer revealed. However, a clue by Activision sheds some light on the game world and possible story of the game. This information came out accidentally by Activision.

The Clue came in with the Destiny 2 Invitations for the reveal event. In the invitation, Activision has stated that they welcome the attendees to a “World Without Light”. If you’ve played the original Destiny, and you’ve looked into details with a bit of keen eyes, you’ll know that the “Light” plays a very important role in the game. As the Light is essential to growing stronger and to power up in the game. This clue from the Activision has a lot of weight. This could be a clear hint that the light will be no more after the attack on the last city.

The Destiny 2 gameplay reveal is going to take place on May 18th, 2017. Hopefully, fans will have new info about the game including the gameplay and characters.
