The Destiny 2 release date is expected to be revealed soon for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. As Bungie has plans to reveal the gameplay in May 2017, the developer has so much of other things to share as well.
It’s going to be one of the biggest releases of 2017. And it will allow Bungie to develop more game modes and introduce new gameplay styles. The new gameplay styles and modes are going to be similar to the ones that became popular with the release of the original game.
The developer has plans to reveal new information about Destiny 2 just ahead of the game’s official reveal in 2017. In addition, a new Destiny 2 gameplay livestream is also planned for the month of May 2017. The livestream will focus mainly on gameplay and how the things are going to change on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
First, Destiny 2 Beta will come out on all the major platforms. This will allow the fans to look at the game for the first time and enjoy all the new things. This will help prepare the fans for the final Destiny 2 reveal which is due in September 2017.
The livestream of Destiny 2 gameplay will be the first major step towards the game’s launch which is set for a May 18th, 2017. According to the Destiny 2 Community Manager David Dague’s latest tease, a big crowd is going to attend the show. This will also be the very first group to play the game.
David Dague explains;
“This week at Bungie, we’re setting the guest list for the Destiny 2 gameplay premiere.
As you might expect, it’s a pretty big deal for us. Builds are being deployed and reviewed. Bugs are being identified and squashed.
Right beside all the development work being poured into reveal (and beyond). Our people are getting prepped to stand on stage and put on what we hope is one hell of a show for you. We’re getting butterflies as we count down the days.
You might have noticed that we’re inviting some special guests from the media and our community to be part of a live audience for this premiere. They’ll be among the first players to get some hands-on time with Destiny 2. Immediately after the conclusion of the livestream.
The PS4 and PC versions of the game will be on display. So, you should expect another wave of news, coverage, and content to dig into after the event is over.
We hope you’re as excited as we are. Whether you’re in attendance at the show in person, represented by a community leader, or simply watching the stream from the comfort of your home, we plan to make it worth your while.”
All this explains that the gameplay of Destiny 2 on both of the major platforms PS4 and PC will be available to masses in a couple of weeks. This is indeed a big news for all those fans who want to buy the game for the new platform.
However, Bungie isn’t planning to keep the gameplay footage to themselves. Instead, they are giving a chance to the YouTubers attending the event, to livestream the gameplay via their own channels. This is a really big step from Bungie.
Hopefully, the fans will have a lot of gameplay footages released in the next few weeks after the big event. This will, in turn, answer a lot of questions about the game and how it will look on the new platform which is PC.
