‘Criminal Minds’ Season 13 Will Have Reid Back In BAU
The last season of the show had Reid put behind the bars under the false accusation of killing a nurse, reports The Christian Post. Later on, someone abducts his mother Diana (Jane Lynch) and he is overwhelmed with darkness to kill the person who abducted her right there. But he uses all his strength in the body to prevent himself from doing the devilish act.
As fans of the “Criminal Minds” are well aware, Reid’s mother has Alzheimer’s and it is now getting worse. Hence Diana needs someone to keep watch on her full-time. Previously she had a traumatic experience with a caretaker. Hence, there is a strong possibility that Reid might be taking it upon himself to look after her in “Criminal Minds” Season 13.
He can resign from BAU to take care of his mother. But the showrunner, Erica Messer ruled out the possibility saying that she would want Reid to continue in BAU with the others. Messer said that they want Reid back on the team as quickly as possible solving the cases.
