Getting really, really good at Clash Royale can also be really, really expensive, if Chief Pat is anything to go by. The YouTuber said in a Reddit AMA session that he has spent a total of $30,000 on Supercell games Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. Of these, he has spent $12,000 on Clash Royale alone.
Chief Pat says he does not regret spending this much, writing it off as a business expensive instead. “I gotta show off all the coolest shit for my subscribers, ya digg?” he said in the response. His YouTube channel, where he talks mainly about Clash of Clans and Clash Royale has over 1.7 million subscribers at present. He even managed to take the first place on the game’s leaderboards, making him a top-ranked player. The leaderboards are, of course, highly contested and he no longer holds that spot.
Chief Pat agrees with many of the game’s critics that spending lots of money can be very helpful in the game, but he also emphasises strategy.
