Clash Royale has been out for nearly a month now, and it’s already getting its first tournament. According to developer Supercell, the first official Clash Royale tournament will be held in Helsinki, the capital of Finland.
According to the official forum post, the tournament will be held on April 16th, and will take place at “Herttoniemi, near subway”. While the timings haven’t been confirmed yet, Supercell expects to conduct it at around 16:00-22:00. Attendees have to be over 18 years old.
The event will have a preliminary round, in which anyone at the event can participate. The top 8 players in the preliminary round will get to play in the finals on the stage, which might be live streamed. The event is described as “laid back, fun night, food and drinks” and it will be hosted by Supercell themselves. Supercell is based in Helsinki, so it comes as no surprise they’d choose to hold the tournament there.
You can sign up by sending an email to [email protected]. Supercell instructs you to “Please write your in-game name and Clash Royale clan. Gather as many names as you wish, clanmates welcome.”
Helsinki is a bit too far for most Clash Royale players, but at least, Supercell was kind enough not to hold the tournaments in the cold, scary months of the Finnish winter. Are you going to participate? Let us know in the comments below.
