The VR (virtual reality) headset industry is growing at a rapid speed and is going to be the highlight of this year. The Cardboard app has been updated to version 1.8 (build 160217142) recently. This latest Cardboard APK download file is 49.72 MB large and is compatible with all Android 4.1+ smartphones. And even though it may be compatible with tablets, you should remember that the Google Cardboard VR headset does not accommodate devices larger than 6-inches.
The new Cardboard APK update hardly brings any new features. It just adds a new About page to the app and brings general bug fixes.
