Tap tap tap’s Camera+ is popular among iOS users. Before yesterday, the iPad version of the app had not been upgraded since 2014. Tap tap tap officially released Camera+ 2 for iPad.

Camera+ 2 Supports Apple Pencil

Camera+ 2 for iPad brings incredible features. The app has been upgraded with a UI that matches most of the changes made to iOS since the release of iOS 6. The app now incorporates the popular photo editing tool called The Lab. The Lab has been on the iPhone for quite sometime. The upgraded app also supports Apple Pencil.

The iPhone camera has always been miles ahead of the iPad camera. But Apple has made amends. iPad models like the 9.7″ iPad Pro have a 12MP iSight camera with True Tone flashes and Live Photo support. This device will take far much better photos than any ‘budget-conscious’ smartphone, obviously.

According to 9to5mac, Camera+ 2 introduces The Lab to the iPad and supports selective brushing of a number of filters and edits. The Apple Pencil support will take selective brushing to a whole new level. The new version of the app also supports iPad multitasking.

An iPad may or may not be your preferred photo-taker device. Either way, Camera+ 2 is worth the short if you own an iPad. The app is free if you are an existing customer and costs $4.99 in the App Store for new customers.
