If Activision really wanted to be smart they would release Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered as a stand-alone around January of 2017. The only reason they released, to begin with, is to sate the hunger of those gamers looking for an old school shooter and not some space crap. Right now they’ve satisfied those who were willing to pick up IW along with MWR but the other half of those fans aren’t willing to do so. If they can correct their errors with more DLC for Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered, then keeping those disenchanted gamers hooked for the next year by allowing them to purchase MWR alone would be their best bet.
Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered – What could the DLC have in store for gamers?
That sounds too good to be true, I mean we’re talking Activision here, it’s not like they’re nice enough to give us map packs for FREE, hell they wouldn’t give us weapons for free, they would at least charge us $20 for each DLC and maybe even for the variety map pack. But if this news by itechpost is anything to go by, we might just be getting free expansions for the game.
We’re fine with DLC as long as it’s Terminal, Highrise, Favela, and maybe another map like Afghan. Also, the first DLC could be the original four maps from Cod 4 with Chinatown, Broadcast, Killhouse, and Creek. And maybe to entice us a bit more they could throw in Christmas Crash. As long as they give the best maps, we have no problem even paying for Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered DLC. Activision owns the rights to all of Call of Duty’s assets. They could put anything they want into the game, and knowing Activision, there will be some kind of microtransaction system in MWR, whether its supply drops or map packs.
